Problem:

I have rolled out several installs of Office 2016 using my MAK key but they won’t activate because I am out of MAK licenses. I have a new KMS server setup but I don’t want to reinstall all these machines.

Solution:

To uninstall Office for Mac 2011 move the applications to the Trash.Once you've removed everything, empty the Trash and restart your Mac to complete the process. Before you remove Office for Mac 2011, quit all Office applications and make sure there's nothing in Trash that you want to keep. Leave Office applications closed while you go through this process.

Run these commands from an Administrator Command Prompt:

cscript “C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice16ospp.vbs” /inpkey:JNRGM-WHDWX-FJJG3-K47QV-DRTFM
cscript “C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft OfficeOffice16ospp.vbs” /act

Activate Office 2016 For Mac Kms
