Hello all, Yesterday I updated my Office applications for my MacBook Pro (running OS 10.10.5) to the version 15.22. Ever since then, my Outlook application has been using pretty much all of my CPU resources.
Office 2016 vs Office 365. Microsoft’s Office Suite is a staple of the workplace and home. Office 2016 is the “offline” Office version where you install the applications on your machine, and for many years, this type of service was the only Microsoft Office provided.

Huge props to Microsoft for a very, very well done upgrade. Office 2016 feels like a completely new and very Mac-friendly application suite that might just replace Pages, Numbers, Keynote and the rest of the Apple office suite on our Mac systems here in the office. Not to mention on our Windows systems! Collaborate for free with online versions of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote. Save documents, spreadsheets, and presentations online, in OneDrive. Office 2016 for Mac Microsoft says Office 2016 for Mac version 15.35 or later will install on MacOS 10.13. That’s interesting because the current public release of Office/Mac is v15.34 (0.01 less) – even the latest Office isn’t officially ready for the upcoming Mac release.
